Q: Where is your store located?
A: We are located at 32 W. Racine St. in Janesville. Our store sits beside the Rock River and near the intersection of West Racine Street and South Main Street.
Q: What are your store hours?
We are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays; and Noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
Q: How does consignment work?
A: Items are brought in by appointment and an account is created for you. We take care of the pricing and selling then as the items sell, money is credited to your account. Any time there’s money on your account you can use it as store credit to shop or be payed out in cash. Please see our Consignment Policies page for more information.
Q: Will I get cash on the spot for my items?
A: No, we don’t purchase anything outright. Everything is sold on consignment.
Q: What sells best?
A: Items that are current styles, less than three years old and free of any defects or damage sell best. We accept all brand names. Some of our more popular brands include CJ Banks, Coldwater Creek, Lane Bryant, Cacique, Tommy Hilfiger, Old Navy, Harley Davidson, Coach and more. Tops sell better than bottoms and larger sizes sell better than the smaller sizes that we carry.
Q: What items are not accepted?
A: Items that are damaged in any way like rips, stains or missing buttons. Items that have had the tags removed. Items that are too small, out of season, out-dated, older than three years or vintage. We also do not accept panties unless they are new in the package or still have the tags attached.
Q: Why aren't older items accepted?
A: Sizes have changed a lot over the years. Because of vanity sizing what would have been considered a size 14 ten years ago might be considered a size 10 today. By accepting items that are no older than three years, we can be sure that they are stylish today and sized according to current guidelines.
Q: Why isn't size large accepted?
A: We don’t accepted large sizes because they just don’t sell. Even items that are obviously generously cut don’t usually sell because shoppers see size large on the tag and don’t bother trying them on.
Q: What happens to unsold items at the end of the consignment period?
A: Unsold items that have reached the end of their consignment period are donated to local charities. These charities include Love Inc, Acts of Kindness, the domestic violence shelter, House of Mercy and Castaways. We can provide a list of your unsold items that were donated for your tax purposes upon request.
Q: Can I get my unsold items back?
A: Absolutely! At the end of your consignment period, you’re welcome to come find any unsold items and take them home with you. We can provide a list of unsold items for you to search for. Please be sure you really don’t want your unsold items to be donated to charity as finding them can be a big job and can be very time consuming.

Mon - Fri: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Saturday: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Sunday: 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
